The Exchange Folder Agent imports contact data from a Microsoft Exchange Server public folder or a folder inside a mailbox into an address list. It has a fixed mapping of contact to vCard fields and can import the photo contained in the Exchange contact.

Requirements
The source system must be Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 or later, or Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. Additional requirements depend on the selected API:

Microsoft Graph requires Exchange Online, an Entra ID application credential, and a contact folder in a user or shared mailbox. It does not support public folders for this agent.

EWS requires Exchange Web Services and either Exchange Autodiscover or an explicitly configured EWS URL. Use EWS for on-premises Exchange and, temporarily, for Exchange Online public folders.
